Work begins on the Cuckoo Shed

The final contents of the CS having been removed Shedders were able to have access on 1st May. Despite this being a Bank Holiday, no fewer than 6 Shedders attended and attacked the shrubs growing on the South side of the Shed. Shedders David and Andrew kindly transported much of the cuttings to the dump.There are trimmings still to be taken away and a chainsaw is needed to remove some stumps. A coat of wood stain is urgently needed!

It’s beginning to feel like home at Fishbourne. Several dog walkers and croquet players have stopped to have a chat and it’s already widely known that the Men’s Shed is coming. Zoe in the office and Keiran, the groundsman, are very helpful and we’ve just been invited to join the Field Committee where representatives of all the organisations that use the Field meet to discuss matters of mutual interest and concern.
